LAW 2 (Man/woman is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he/she cannot Know and experience God’s love and plan for his/her life). Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23

LAW 3 (Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for man’s sin. Through him you can Know and experience God’s love and plan for your life). Romans 5:8 John 14:16

LAW 4 (We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives). John 1:12, 3:1-8

WE RECEIVE CHRIST THROUGH PERSONAL INVITATION

(Christ speaking) “Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears my Voice and opens the door, I will come into him.” Revelation 3:20.Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what he wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We receive Jesus Christ by faith, it is an act of the will.

How to have a consistent relationship with Christ?

  1. Read and study the bible as often as possible
  2. Start with Psalm or the New Testament
  3. Develop a prayer life

What is prayer?

Prayer is communication with God: a dialogue. God talking to you mand you talking to God. It is not only important what you say to God, but what he has to say to you is just as if not more important.

Why should we pray

satan trembles when he sees the weakest Christian on his or her knees. Prayer changes things. Prayer is a basic tool for Christian growth. It helps develop faith and trust in Jesus.  We also believe that Jesus may not show up when we need him, but he shows up right on time. We believe that even if God don’t do or answer our prayer right away or in the way we want him to, he knows best and work thing out in a supernatural way.  According to Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

How should we pray?

According to Matthew 6:5-8:

“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others.  Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your father knows what you need before you ask him.” Simply talk to God as if you are talking to a friend, your spouse, your family, and so on and so forth.

A SIMPLE PRAYER FOR SALVATION

Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive you as my savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person you want me to be. Amen.

If you said this prayer from your heart, you are now saved! Congratulations for being birth into the Kingdom of God.  Continue to have a personal relationship with Christ, and he will lead you to a full gospel church where you can meet other born again followers of Christ and grow in him, as “iron sharpens iron.”
